Beko is advancing artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions to enable smarter, more adaptive, and intuitive experiences across connected home appliances. This work includes AI-driven capabilities that can understand usage context, interpret complex home environments, and respond to user intent in a reliable and privacy-conscious way. We focus on solutions that perform under real-life household conditions, support both on-device intelligence and connected intelligence, and integrate into product architectures while maintaining robustness, responsiveness, and user trust.

In light of this landscape, collaboration interest is expressed in next-generation AI and ML technologies for context-aware smart home applications, including deployment through our connected platform, HomeWhiz, and/or directly on appliances (e.g., refrigerators and ovens). Potential topics include multimodal vision-language models for on-device scene understanding and intent interpretation; robust computer vision for object and state detection, usage scenario recognition, quality assessment, and anomaly analysis in real homes; and privacy-preserving voice and audio intelligence for embedded devices, including robust speech detection in noisy household settings and multilingual, accent-adaptive recognition.
