'Product of the Year' Award for
Beko from Israeli Consumers


Beko recived the 'Product of the Year' award, a prestigious prize given to the most innovative and best quality products in Israel, in the category of dishwashers.

Beko, which has introduced an energy-efficient product line with an innovative design and superior technology to the consumers, has received a prestigious award from Israel. DFN 28320 X dishwasher by Beko won the 'Product of the Year' award, which is granted to the most innovative and best quality products by the Israel Consumer Association that represents the consumers in Israel, in its own category. DFN 28320 X which made it to the finals with the AEG ProClean series by getting ahead of other international brands won the first prize thanks to its low water consumption of 6 litres and admirable design as well as its technological features, namely "ProSmart™ Inverter Motor" and "AquaIntense®".

Winners of the 'Product of the Year' awards, which have been given to products and services in various categories and segments all over the world for more than 30 years, are determined after a 2-stage selection process. At the first stage, an Ethical Committee led by Professor Jacob Hornic from the Tel Aviv University selected the products that were eligible to be put to the consumer vote. At the second stage, more than 2,000 people who participated in the most important consumer research carried out by Kantar Media in Israel voted to choose the winners from the innovative products by taking 3 parameters into account: attractiveness, innovation and satisfaction.

The "Product of the Year" award, which is valid for 1 year, at the ceremony held at Tel Aviv Museum of Art, with 550 invitees comprising of officers of the leading companies of the consumer products sector, press members and state agents.

With this award, the Arçelik Group, which ranks second after the B/S/H group in the dishwasher market in Israel*, proved that it is one of the most important actors that have gained the consumer trust on the way to become the market leader.
